Give Thanks To God, The Father
God does not change. He is the same yesterday today and forever. What He has promised He will do. He watches over His word to perform it. He is good to all. Every promise in Him is yes and amen. God, our Heavenly Father is worthy of all our praise and thanksgiving.
If there is nothing else in your life that you think is worth giving thanks for, then give thanks for this. If you know that Jesus Is Lord, give thanks to God. If you believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, then give thanks to God. If you have a voice to speak that you can sing and declare the goodness of God, then give thanks to God.
If you have nothing of the riches of this world, but you trust Jesus Christ and Him alone for salvation, then give thanks to God because your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of life.
“The nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” Revelations 21:24-27
“…do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20
If you are richly blessed with all spiritual and material blessings, with health strength, energy, vitality and the joy of the Lord fills your heart today then give thanks to God.
If you can measure blessings in one area of your life but still struggle in another, then give thanks to God; He’s not finished with you yet. If you can share what you have with others, then, do so, and give thanks to God. If you can go the extra mile with a friend or foe or lend a helping hand to a stranger in need, then do so and give thanks to God.
We serve God best when we serve the needs of others.
"In as much as you have done it unto the least of these, my brethren you have done it unto Me." Matthew 25:40
Be a blessing today to whatever extent you can, then give thanks to God.
"And whatsoever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians. 3:17
For God so loved…that He gave His only… not one of many but His only begotten Son.
The most precious gift we have to give to God, the Father, is our only…self. With every act, word, deed of thanksgiving we give more of our selves to Him.
"Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling [His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift]! 2 Corinthians 9:15
"Thank You, God, our Father, for our Lord Jesus Christ and thank You for the Holy Spirit who now abides with us and will abide with us forever. All glory, honor, dominion, power, majesty, thanksgiving and praise be unto You, Father, to You Jesus, to You Holy Spirit now and forever, Amen"
