The Twelfth Day of Christmas
The unique nature of Christianity among all other religious beliefs is its fundamental belief and acknowledgement of God incarnating Himself in the form of a man, being born of a virgin as the Only Begotten Son of God to live and die for the sins of the world; not to condemn the world but to save it. Jesus Christ is The Witness and The Demonstration of God's Love in that He alone took our sins on Himself, being made sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
His suffering, death, burial and resurrection are the immutable, irrefutable, undeniable, irreplaceable proof of God's love for us. And God Himself reveals that truth in the hearts of men by the Holy Spirit, declaring it by the mouth of many eyewitnesses, by prophets, by miracles, by signs and wonders, by healing, by deliverance, by provisions, by display of power, by loving kindness and tender mercies, by His Word, and all by grace through faith in His Word.
And all who will simply believe Him will be saved and transformed by His power working in them to be conformed to the image of Him Who is:
The Son of God, Righteous,
Pure and Holy, Reigning in Glory forever—Jesus Christ,
Savior, Redeemer, Healer, The Way, The Truth, The Life,
The Light of the World,
The Fullness of God, The Holy One,
One with the Father, One with the Holy Spirit,
The Head of The Church,
Y'shua, The Messiah, The Christ, The Anointed One,
The Giver of Life, The Creator of All Things, The Comforter,
The Friend that sticks closer than a brother,
The Advocate and High Priest of our confession
Who ever lives to make intercession for us;
our Joy, our Peace, our Strength, our Confidence,
our Hope and our Assurance of Salvation in this world and in that which is to come—Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
To Him be all the Glory, Majesty, Honor, Dominion, Strength, Wisdom, Blessing, Power and Might with the Father and the Holy Spirit now and forevermore. AMEN.
Whatever the thoughts or misgivings we may wrestle with at any time we do not need to succumb to them or be overwhelmed by them. We need only to turn our thoughts to the One Who loves us and meditate on His goodness and grace. When we do, His Spirit in us rises up as a fountain of life to strengthen us again and restore to us the joy of our salvation. We can never fully comprehend the measure of God’s love for us, but we can rejoice in being filled to overflowing to the fullness of the capacity of our reborn spirits to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to worship Him with His praise continually in our mouths and on our lips.
“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1
“My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.” Psalm 71:23
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” Romans 11:33-36
