Practice before excellence -Tough times before good times - Pain before pleasure - Sacrifice before

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:17

Whatever we do in word and deed we are called to do as though it was for the Lord.

If we were invited to sing for the King we’d dedicate ourselves to whatever rigors of rehearsal and preparation are necessary to achieve the very best presentation of our music that we can. We’d rehearse many hours a day many times a week. We’d think about the upcoming event all during the day and night. As the day draws near we’d become more excited about what we’ve have been made privileged to do. We’d make sure our clothes are pressed and ready, our hair is cut or styled just so. We’d protect our voices because the last thing we’d want to do is get sick just before the big day. We’d avoid distractions and anything that might hinder us from giving our best performance.

Maybe you’re not a singer, but apply the same kind of preparatory regimens to your gift, skill or talent to your life, as you would bring them before the King to serve him.

Well, THE KING OF KINGS has invited us to sing for Him this Sunday in the company of others who love Him. He has invited us to life and that more abundantly today. He has invited us to be blessed today and to be a blessing.

Will you accept His invitation and prepare yourself to give Him your best?
