Routines – Healthy Habits


There is a rhythm to life that is good for body, mind and spirit. When we are in sync with that rhythm we can more effectively enjoy the benefits of health, strength, energy and a positive, affirming outlook on life. When we are out of sync with that rhythm much of our life can be negatively affected.

As you read aloud these passages of Scripture consider how Jesus kept His life in sync with the rhythm of God’s created plan for every man, woman and child and how your life can become more fulfilling by following His example.

Hint: First things first again and again and again…

“And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.” Luke 4:16

“So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” Luke 5:16
