Lent – Day 8 — A Prayer For The Lost
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
“And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach andpublish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].” Mark 16:15
“Our Father and our God, today we thank you for the gift of life and that more abundantly, Thank You, Lord for hearing and answering our prayers. You know what we need even before we ask, but You have called us to actively participate in the working of Your will in the world. So we pray today for friends and family who have not yet made a confession of faith in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior. We pray for You to surround them with Your love and grace, keep them from the evil one and protect them from hurt, harm and danger. Please bring them into a right relationship with You and save them to the uttermost. Send Your Word to them and soften their hearts to believe and receive the Words of life.
We claim them now for the Kingdom of God and we commit them into Your care and keeping. I pray that they will have an encounter with You that will be undeniable. Lord, please send laborers for Your Kingdom across their paths that they may hear the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, and be saved. Thank You, Father for friends and family today in the blessed and Holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we pray. AMEN”
