Created to Worship - Part 1 ~ I Will Bless the Lord At All Times

Updated: Sep 18, 2023

"I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:1-4

In living out our purpose as beleivers in Jesus Christ, we are at our best when we worship the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We are created uniquely as beings to worship God our Creator and to live in His glory and enjoy the wonders of His creation even as dear little children. At all times, words of blessing should be on our lips, blessing God the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is in blessing the Lord at all times that we find our ultimate peace, and life fulfillment.

Our praise of Him should be such that those of a humble heart will hear of Him and be glad. Our worship and blessing of the Lord should prompt in us the desire for all men everywhere to bless the Lord, that all creation may be heard as one symphony of praise and adoration to God our Father, Jesus our Redeemer and our Healer, and the Holy Spirit our power to live and move in Christ as His kingdom of priests and kings, serving faithfully in His courts with praise and thanksgiving.

We were once all dead in our trespasses and sins but He heard our cry for salvation and He sent His only begotten Son to live and die the death of sin in our place, so that we might go free, to live life and that more abundantly in Him.

This life of faith begins with a confession of faith. We say with our mouths, from our hearts believing, that "Jesus is Lord" and God has raised Him from the dead. If then He is alive now, that means He has breath and all the substance of life is in Him. His body did not decay in the grave. So too, is He also able to speak, to see, to feel, to move about as all living beings with the added dimension of His power to keep, sustain, and uphold all things by the Word of His power.

"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high..." Hebrews 1:3

Now we who are born again by His Spirit have been raised up as new creations in Christ Jesus. We were buried with Him in baptism. By the will of God and the power of the holy Spirit we have been raised up to new life. Now we live in and by Him, in Spirit and in truth.

We are not our own, because we have been bought with the price of His blood. We were sold into sin through the disobedience of the one man, Adam, but we have now been redeemed from sin and death through the obedience of the One Man, Jesus Christ. He bought us back from slavery to sin and death and has made us alive in Him to live unto righteousness now and forever.

Now we are the sons of God, male and female, children of the Most High God. Now we are a new nation, a peculiar people, a chosen generation a royal priesthood joined in faith together to show praises unto God our Father, Jesus our Lord and The Holy Spirit, our teacher, guide, our power to declare the glory of God to all peoples, tongues, and nations, until Jesus returns.

So, we live to bless the Lor at all times and to let is praise be continually spoken from our mouths.
