LOVE

“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16 KJV

Love is still the most powerful weapon we have against the wiles of the devil, because we are the just and we live by faith, and our faith works by love. Nothing can separate us from His love, and nothing can prevail against His love. We live to please God. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for they that come to Him must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are not rewarded for seeking anything but God first and always. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

The question is, how do we as believers in Jesus Christ in this present ever-increasingly Godless generation, live and exhibit the love of God to the end that we bring light into the darkness, deliverance to the captives, recovering of sight to blind, and set at liberty them that are bruised, and proclaim the acceptable time of the Lord?

As Ambassadors of Jesus Christ, we are the voice of God to the world. As Jesus was the express image of God [Hebrews 1:3] we are to the world the expressed image of Christ, Who lives in us and by the Holy Spirit is working His will in us, so that we can work His will outwardly to the world. As men see us, they should also see Christ.

Let us therefore live in such a manner, that the light of the glorious Gospel that shines in the face of Jesus Christ and now He has made to shine our hearts, so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.

Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:3-11

Bless the Lord at all times. Let His praise be continually in our mouths. [Psalm 34:1]
