"But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. Mark 16:6
When the women (Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome…Mark 16:1) came to the tomb that morning where Jesus had been buried, they found the stone had been rolled away and they were perplexed! But then, two angels stood before them and asked, “Why seek ye the living among the dead?”
“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words, And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.” Luke 24:5-9
Wherever Jesus is found there will be life. He will not be found in the places of death, in the places where the wisdom and ways of sinful mankind rule the day. He will not be found in the works of unrighteousness and the ways of evil men who seek to corrupt truth and change the glory of the incorruptible God and make Him like unto the image of corruptible man. No, the risen Lord will not be found in the palaces of the new or the old rich who prey on the week and the innocent with smooth words of lies and deceit that appeal to the baser nature of fallen humankind with empty promises of life-fulfillment but are only pathways to death a destruction. No! Jesus the Lord of Life will not be found in their company nor giving credence to their ways.
JESUS IS RISEN from the dead! Now, in Him we will find life and that more abundantly, and peace and joy forevermore, unspeakable, and full of glory!
There is no greater declaration of GOOD News to mankind than these words. CHRIST IS RISEN! For if Christ is alive, then we also who believe on Him for salvation are made alive together with Him!!!
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-7
Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, is Risen! HE IS RISEN INDEED!!!
