Things God Cannot Do

God cannot lie.

“…in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began… Titus 1:2

God cannot be tempted by evil.

"Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone." James 1:13

God’s Kingdom cannot be shaken.

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." Hebrews 12:28

God cannot deny Himself.

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” Timothy 2:13

Because God sees all things, knows all things, and knows the end from the beginning, He cannot learn. Therefore, He cannot be surprised or caught off guard.

God will never say, “Whoa! I did not see that coming!”

So, take heart! We are in His hands, and nothing can snatch us away from Him. Our future is assured, and our eternity is sealed forever in Heaven with Him and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10:28 KJV

While we are here, we have His promises in our hearts and in our minds. We have the Word of God on our lips. So that when we speak His Word, light goes out to dispel the darkness. We are loved. This world is loved by God, that’s why He sent Jesus to save us all from our sins.

Though the world today seems to be spinning out of control, politically, socially, spiritually, educationally, relationally, and morally, and in many ways it is; still, we must not fret ourselves over the noise of evil men and the false witness of those who do not know our God.

Instead, we must be kind and patient with those who are struggling under the restraints of being bound in the snare of the devil, because they have been taken captive by him at his will. We are called to be patient with them, and in an attitude of meekness, seize the opportunities when they present themselves, to instruct them in the truth.

“And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.” Timothy 2:24-26

We must keep our own hearts in an attitude of expectation of good, and know that when we pray, we can change the course of almost anything, including all the things mentioned above. We have the authority from God, our Father to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. WE ARE NOT MERELY VICTIMS AT THE MERCY OF THE SYSTEMS AND UNGODLY WHIMS OF MEN!

We are the sons and daughters of the Most High God. We are more than conquerors, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, pray, declare, and expect the Word to come to pass and accomplish what God pleases.

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11

We have been charged by commission from Jesus to speak God’s Word to the world. This is the proclamation of the Gospel.

Now, here on earth, as long as we are alive, we preach, they hear, they chose, Jesus saves, and we live in expectation of His coming again.

Glorious!!!
